Hog Roast Samlesbury’s catering crew was recently invited to cater at a prestigious networking event, which proved to be an exciting opportunity for our team to flex our culinary skills and connect with potential high-end clients.
As you can probably imagine, the event had attracted several hundred guests who were invited along for a night of fabulous food (served by yours truly), a vibrant atmosphere complete with live music and the chance to participate in a competition to win a luxury sports car for the weekend. Everyone was excited to attend, and the ambience was electric from the get-go.
The Hog Roast Samlesbury team was determined to impress the large group of guests, and they did so by serving our Formal Hog Roast Dining Menu.
Matching the tone of the event, this menu featured a gorgeous canapé selection, drinks and a full three-course meal. The canapes were an instant hit, with guests raving about the delicious bite size treats. Meanwhile, our serving staff kept the drinks flowing, ensuring the guests enjoyed a selection of wines, beers, and soft drinks.
For the main course, the group was treated to a choice of either our mouth-watering hog roast with all the trimmings, spit-roasted English lamb with Yorkshire puddings and mint sauce, or BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls with zesty vegan coleslaw. The meat was succulent and tender, and the aroma filled the air. These sumptuous mains were also served with a selection of sides, including classic Caesar salad, heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, seasonal vegetables and ultra creamy dauphinoise potatoes.
Dessert was a sweet treat to end the meal, with guests indulging in a selection of desserts, including a rich and creamy cheesecake and a decadent chocolate torte with fresh cream and an assortment of summer fruits.
Overall, this was a fantastic event, and it couldn’t have gone better. Everyone agreed that the Hog Roast Samlesbury catering team played a significant role in making it a success, as thanks to our team’s attention to detail, delicious food, and excellent service, the guests had a brilliant time, and left the party with happy memories and full bellies.
