Can you believe it? Oktoberfest has come to an end for another year, and what a wild ride it was! After two full weeks of festive fun, laughter, and more steins than we could count, it’s time to pack away those dirndls and lederhosen and slip back into our regular clothes. But boy, what a time we had!
This year, the celebrations were off the charts! Hog Roast Savick saw larger-than-life events popping up all over the region, and we were lucky to be in the thick of the excitement, soaking up all the fun and serving up our delicious grub to the hungry partygoers.
We were thrilled to help both private and corporate clients throw unforgettable Oktoberfest bashes, and everywhere we went, guests lit up when they saw our smiling faces and delicious hog roasts. I mean, who could resist the juiciness of our perfectly pulled pork rolls? It’s the ultimate soul food, perfectly suited to the high-energy atmosphere of Oktoberfest!
Our grand finale for Oktoberfest landed on October 6th—the last hurrah of the season—and it was a day we won’t soon forget. Hog Roast Savick was invited to celebrate a very special occasion: Neil’s 18th birthday bash!
The birthday boy threw an Oktoberfest-themed party at his home, inviting 75 of his closest friends and family for an unforgettable night. His parents, Andy and Michelle, transformed their house into a Bavarian wonderland, complete with on-theme decorations that would make even the most seasoned Oktoberfest-goer green with envy. They even set up a beer bar in the garden, serving up traditional German ales that had everyone raising their glasses in celebration.
And when it came to the food, Hog Roast Savick didn’t disappoint! We served up a spit-roasted hog that was as impressive as it was delicious. Its golden, crispy skin and tender, juicy meat drew everyone in like moths to a flame. Served on gluten-free and wholemeal buns with applesauce, stuffing, and crackling, it was the ultimate Bavarian feast that had taste buds dancing with joy.
As the music blared and laughter echoed through the night, people danced like nobody was watching, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The atmosphere was electric, and Neil’s birthday celebration was the cherry on top of an incredible series of Oktoberfest events for us at Hog Roast Savick.
