Sophie had been searching for a way to reward her kids for their stellar school performance, and she figured there was no better way than by treating the family to a hearty, mouth-watering feast. But, let’s be honest, cooking for 15 people isn’t exactly an easy feat! Not wanting to spend all evening in the kitchen and miss out on the fun, Sophie wisely decided to call in the experts at Hog Roast Moor Nook, and she couldn’t have been happier with her choice!

For this intimate family gathering, we decided to roast a beautiful suckling pig. Now, if you’ve never had the pleasure of tasting a suckling pig, you’re definitely missing out. This tender delicacy is a true treat! The meat is noticeably more delicate and juicy than that of an adult pig, thanks to the high collagen content in their young muscle fibres. The result? Paired with fresh cream and berries, it was the perfect sweet ending to a perfect day.
