If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that there are very few things in life better than enjoying an outdoor BBQ in the hot summer sun with our favourite people, am I right? Yeah, I thought so! And now that the temperature is beginning to spike, there’s no better time than the present to start digging out those deck chairs and unmask that rattan furniture in time for a good old family get-together!
But for sole people, there’s just one teeny, tiny problem: cooking! If you’re cuisine creations usually end up sporting an unintentional charcoal exterior (no judgement here), then even the idea of being in charge of cooking for the whole family might sound like a nightmare. The solution? Why, Hog Roast Lostock Hall, of course!
With all the good weather we’ve been having recently, it probably won’t surprise you to hear that the Hog Roast Lostock Hall catering crew has been rushed off their feet, helping families all over the UK make the most of the sunshine with our smashing hog roast menus. So, why not join them by getting your own booking sorted?
Our team are the best in the business (even if we do say so ourselves!) and just last weekend they trundled off to a countryside cottage, located in a neighbouring village for a not-so-traditional BBQ. With the whole family eagerly anticipating the long-awaited event, the client had asked us to make things extra special by incorporating a few of our famous specialities alongside the traditional BBQ dishes that we also provide.
Arriving early in the morning gave the Hog Roast Lostock Hall crew a head-start on preparations for the lunchtime feast which consisted of buttery corn cobbettes, BBQ pork butt, fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs, juicy hot dogs and our homemade 100% beef BBQ burgers. Soft and floury buns and wraps were also provided alongside a platter of crunchy slaws, loaded fries, salads and irresistible condiments.
Just as we had hoped, the client and the guests were overjoyed by the mouth-watering buffet our team had set before them and as soon as the lids on the chafing dishes were lifted, they dug in!
