A 4-day bank holiday weekend and an Easter Sunday can only mean one thing for the Hog Roast Callon team: plenty of events to serve!

We hope that plenty of you at home took the opportunity of the extra long weekend to get nice and recharged, even with that loss of a one hour lie in on Sunday. Such a weekend is an excellent time to get together with friends and family and enjoy a lunch or dinner with each other. Had the Hog Roast Callon team not been working, that is most certainly what we would have been up to.

Instead, we were out and about helping many of you to take full advantage of the Easter weekend with many wonderful events and lunches on the go. Our catering was very popular over the weekend with many taking full advantage of the sunny weather to enjoy a barbecue or a roast outside. Others went the more traditional route for their Easter Sunday roast amongst friends and family; our hog and lamb roasts proved perfect for the occasion and added plenty to what is already a brilliant weekend for everyone to be off work. It was great to see so many able to relax for the weekend and let off just a little more steam than usual knowing that Monday didn’t have to be a work day too. That of course means there was more than enough time to order up an extra hog roast roll or two, or go back in for that seconds and even thirds up at the Hog Roast Callon buffet table. After all, you had all of Monday to recover from the extra portions – that’s what a bank holiday weekend is all about!

The Hog Roast Callon team had a wonderful time serving up your bank holiday weekend, and we also would just like to offer up a further happy Easter that everyone that was with us for the weekend. We can only hope you enjoyed the weekend as much as we did, and had plenty of Easter eggs to gorge on – we know  we did!
