Last week we were as always very busy and we also fitted in a few evening events too. Friday evening we headed north to cater for a Silver Wedding Anniversary party at a local Pub and catering for 100 guests with our Hog Roast Fishwick. The Pub had a huge room for us to cater in and the place had a lovely homely feel we wasted no time and began as soon as we arrived.
Setting up the machines and prep table and then unloading all the food needed for the Hog Roast Fishwick. We placed a large selection of chicken on the machine some breast, legs and wings some we seasoned with spices and herbs and others we left plain and within minutes the smell was breath taking! We then placed some sausages on the smaller machine, which would be placed on sticks when cooked making them easier to eat. The tables were already covered in cloths and all we had to do was fill it with food. We lovingly prepared a huge cheese board with an array of cheeses and crisp breads and crackers alongside we placed pots of delicious home made chutney and pickles. We made a huge bowl of fresh green salad and placed bowls of tomatoes, cucumber, spring onions and olives on the table for the guests to enjoy. We made an assortment of dips and sauces we love to experiment and come up with new flavours we work hard to make sure our customers get the very best.
When the happy couple arrived they were in shock as they looked at the food they said there were not expecting what we had produced and said they were very impressed. The guests started to arrive and all came over to look at the food we removed the chickens and placed the meat on serving trays the guests helped themselves to the food and we had people coming over saying the chicken just melted in their mouths and telling us how moist and tender it tasted. We have to agree because our machines cook meat to perfection time and time again. We had a lovely evening and all the guests did too we do enjoy our job here at Hog Roast Fishwick.
