Pub Hog Roast Samlesbury

We provided the hog roast Samlesbury catering for a 40th birthday party earlier today at a local pub, and were proud to receive so many compliments, as well as several future bookings, which we know means we did more than just what was necessary to make this party a huge success.

For Delia’s birthday, her partner booked us for our winter warmer menu, which we start to serve in the autumn when the weather starts to change dramatically and the temperature often plummets. It was a particularly cold day for most of today, so the hog roast Samlesbury and winter veg selection was likely to be a sure winner for the party guests, as it would warm them up no end at this outdoors celebration. Luckily, the pub garden featured heaters and chimineas, and with the added bonus of hot food served, it meant we didn’t hear any of the revellers complain about the chilly weather.

Delia’s guests would be served freshly cooked pork pieces and crackling carved straight off the hog at the venue, after we had lovingly cooked it for several hours. Additionally, we were asked to toss sweet potatoes and butternut squash in olive oil and then roast to serve alongside the meat, together with our own homemade sage and onion stuffing and chef’s own tangy apple sauce. We always provide several condiments, too, and a big stack of serviettes, and for this winter warmer we serve the hot food on quality disposable plates.

The guests at Delia’s party were all mesmerised by the hog as they watched it roast away and they couldn’t wait to tuck in. We served around 40 a lovely lunch of meat and veg and by the end of the day the hog had been stripped clean and devoured by all.
