We’ve catered many corporate hospitality events over the years, from small local businesses with just a handful of employees to large national companies with hundreds of staff. We can provide the food for any amount of people, to suit any budget and we have several menus that you can choose from. Nevertheless, we are also happy for you to create your own bespoke menu for your function instead or we can help you to create one. Plus if your event needs extra catering for particular dietary requirements, whether that’s personal choice like a vegetarian dish or due to an allergy of gluten, for instance, we can always fulfil those needs if you just let us know in advance.
When Lillian contacted us about her company’s team-building event, she had a hog roast in Ashton-on-Ribble in mind but also needed to ask us about other options. In addition to some salads, she needed a vegan option, a vegetarian option and a gluten-free option. We were happy to provide all three but let Lillian know that we could create a stuffed mushroom dish that would be suitable for and satisfy both the vegans and the vegetarians and we just needed to supply gluten-free bread rolls for the guests with gluten intolerances as the rest of the hog roast Ashton-on-Ribble was already suitable. Happy with our recommendations, Lillian booked us in and we looked forward to the summer work function.
We arrived bright and early on Wednesday morning. Serving time would be at 1pm and it takes a few hours to roast a hog to perfection so we got to work straight away. We were equipped with a gazebo, serving table, one of our own top-class hog roasting machines and a medium-sized pig to feed around 100 guests, as well as all the extra food that we needed.
As the hog roasted away, turning the skin a golden brown and the meat tender and juicy, we started to freshly prepare the salads and sauces and slice the bread rolls. Once the stuffing was dished up and the stuffed mushrooms were ready, it was finally time for the guests to start pouring out into the grounds to enjoy our delicious hog roast Ashton-on-Ribble.
