It might be a little too cold here to get back out onto the courts yet, but thankfully we’ve got the warmer Aussie weather and the Australian Open to kickstart the tennis grand slam season once again – and what a start it has been! Here at Hog Roast Hoghton we’ve been enjoying what of the action we can catch at a couple of events in the area from local tennis clubs who have set up watch events for the biggest games. We can’t quite match the pace of a Federer serve, but we can swing aces in the catering department still at least!
The Australian Open calls for big game players, as it always does, and the same goes for its watch events, and who else can be considered a big name catering player than Hog Roast Hoghton! Every fault, every break point, every super serve ace, every nail-baiting match point is brought to you at your watch events with the support of a Hog Roast Hoghton catered meal to keep you going. We’ve been delighted to bring our roast buffets to these incredible watch events, and for our teams they of course get the added benefit of getting to keep one eye on the matches every now and then too. 5 hours of game time might be a rough go for the titan that is Scotland’s Andy Murray, but for us at home it at least meant even more excuse to tuck in for another go on the Hog Roast Hoghton buffet line. It’s exhausting work watching the nation’s greatest ever sportsman still defy the odds once again like some kind of part metal tennis terminator, but we at least manage at Hog Roast Hoghton.
Bautista Agut may have been a game too far for the still recovering Murray, but there’s still plenty more tennis to play across the entire tournament, and so our Hog Roast Hoghton teams are itching to get more watch events in to help you and yours enjoy every second of the action with an excellent meal and incredible catered service.
You can’t be serious? Actually, Mr McEnroe, we’re very serious about our catering!
