Lisa recently brought us on board to cater her hen party, and trust us when we say – it was chef’s kiss perfection. She wanted something classy and elegant with a relaxed, garden-party feel. So, she transformed her back garden into a dreamy wonderland, complete with blooming florals, pearlescent table runners, and the prettiest rose-gold and cream balloon arch we’ve ever seen.
With 25 of her best gals by her side, Lisa set the stage for an unforgettable evening – and Hog Roast Fulwood brought the flavour to match.
To kick things off, guests were treated to a selection of bite-sized canapés that looked (and tasted) like they came straight off a fancy restaurant menu. We’re talking gourmet sausages, roasted halloumi and tomato crostini, smoked Scottish salmon, roasted duck, and dainty mini quiches. Sophisticated? Check. Delicious? Double check.
Then came the main event: a mouthwatering, all-you-can-eat buffet. Think whole-roasted free-range chickens seasoned with thyme and sea salt, juicy sirloin brushed with mustard and served with Yorkshire puddings and rich red wine gravy, and colourful grilled veggie and halloumi skewers with creamy tzatziki and flatbreads. Sides? Oh, we had sides – Caesar salad, coleslaw, heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, seasonal greens, and buttery new potatoes. Yum!
Everyone built their dream plate (or two… or three), mixing and matching flavours like total pros.
And for dessert? Let’s just say no one skipped it. Irresistible, chocolate-smothered profiteroles and strawberry vacherins with passionfruit cream ended the evening on the sweetest note imaginable.
