Service you can depend on from Hog Roast Hesketh Bank

It’s been another successful week here at Hog Roast Hesketh Bank, as once again we’ve been providing our renowned catering services to a happy couple on their big day. When John popped the question to Linda, she was over the moon with happiness but also felt quite daunted at the prospect of organising the most important day of her life. And once she realised that her number of guests would reach a whopping one hundred and twenty people, the task only grew larger. But luckily for Linda, a friend of hers suggested the team at Hog Roast Hesketh Bank, having recently hired them to cater for a birthday party.

Linda took her friend’s advice and came to speak to us about what she wanted for her big day. She normally hates party food and buffets, as they’re often sub-par and not particularly exciting, so she wanted a spread that would dazzle and delight. We suggested our Southern Slow Roast menu because of the variety if offers. With a choice of three different slow roasted meats accompanied by a selection of sides, we were sure that there would be something for everyone on this menu and Linda agreed. After we had walked through the finer details of the event, such as choice of crockery and cutlery, there was nothing left to do but wait for the big day to arrive.

It was a gorgeous day and the sun was shining despite still being winter. Linda, John and their guests were on their way to the service as the team from Hog Roast Hesketh Bank arrived at the reception venue – a function room not too far from the church. We always make sure to be on site nice and early to begin the slow cooking process, in order to have everything ready for the guests. As the chefs prepared the meats – Cajun Spiced Whole Roast Chickens, Creole Pulled Quarter of Spiced Lamb and the Texan 24HR Beef Brisket – our catering assistants and waiting staff were busy adorning the room with photos of the happy couple, as well as laying tables with cutlery, candles and exquisite table displays.

The guests arrived as the smell of the slow roasted meats was wafting through the air. Everybody loved how the room had been organised, and Linda absolutely adored the fresh, tasty food that in her own words, was ‘the best buffet ever.’
