Hog Roast Warton recently catered Darren and Kate’s wedding reception, with a hog roast centrepiece as the star attraction but with much more, too. We’ve spent years making sure that everyone can eat at our customers’ parties and events, regardless of the formality or number of people invited, and that includes devising menus of several courses, often with canapés and a drinks reception, providing all kinds of additional dishes, and even catering various diets. When we cater for you and your guests, it’s with plenty of variety and choice and with your wants and needs in mind.
When Darren and Kate contacted Hog Roast Warton a few months back, they asked us for recommendations for the food we could prepare, cook and serve to them and their 70 guests. They were surprised but very happy to hear that we could provide various menus, which can be interchanged if needed, and that we could easily cater for their guests with dietary needs. They were thinking of having a starter, main course and dessert, with canapés served first as their guests arrived, and needed a vegetarian option and a gluten-free option. For the main course, they decided on our famous pigs in buns for the carnivores, with gluten-free bread rolls for the gluten-intolerant guests, and our veggie skewers for the vegetarian guests. There would be a selection of canapés to start, with some suitable for vegetarians and all suitable for gluten-free guests, and the starter of tomato soup and dessert of profiteroles would be suitable for all the guests.
On the day of the couple’s nuptials, our Hog Roast Warton chef and team members cooked up an amazing feast. We started off by setting up our equipment in the grounds of the lovely hotel venue, and then our chef prepared the meat before roasting it for hours on end. By the time the newlyweds and their guests had arrived, our handmade canapés were ready to be served, and it wasn’t long before the starter was ready too. Then when it came round to the buffet-style main course, the guests couldn’t wait to dig in and then they finished it all off with our yummy homemade profiteroles.
