One of the many things we love about our job is that is allows us to be involved in many happy family celebrations. Last Sunday was no exception when the Hog Roast Tarleton team had the pleasure of catering for a christening in a lovely countryside setting for 50 guests!

The proud parents to be chose us because not only could we provide refined food fit for such a special occasion, we also have the flexibility to provide it in any location! They wanted to officially welcome their son into the world in new mum Alison’s parents’ rather impressive back garden, which enjoys unspoilt views of the rolling green hills beyond. They initially thought they wouldn’t be able to find a catering company who could provide restaurant-standard food literally on their own doorstep, but that was before they met Hog Roast Tarleton!

Our streamlined set up allows us to cater in any location without getting under anyone’s feet, so when the big day arrived, we were shown to our designated catering area and set about freshly preparing their chosen menu from scratch, leaving the family free to prepare for the christening ceremony. By the time they got back from the church, a magnificent feast awaited them! They had chosen one of our more formal sit-down meals because they thought it was more befitting to the occasion, which included our signature hog roast served with all the trimmings, garlic and rosemary new potatoes and seasonal veg, all made using the best locally-sourced ingredients!

The family home was the ideal setting to celebrate the new arrival and everyone agreed that enjoying Hog Roast Tarleton’s menu was the perfect way to celebrate! It was a very special day for the whole family, and we’re glad we managed to make their day even more enjoyable by giving them everything they needed when it came to the food and service. The new parents thanked us for our efforts and for helping them to make their son’s christening party even more memorable by being able to provide such fabulous food!
