Ben recently booked Hog Roast Wrea Green for his 30th birthday party, which he hosted in his back garden at home. With thirty guests to feed, he knew they would love a traditional centrepiece hog roast, made into delectable pigs in buns, but he also decided on our homemade coleslaw and a tomato and mozzarella salad put together fresh on the day too. We’re often asked to provide additional options, from multiple courses to hot or cold sides, and sometimes even handmade canapés to be served with drinks, as well as alternative options for those on special diets. When it came round to the day of Ben’s milestone birthday party, the incessant rain didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits, and our chef and catering assistants sheltered under our trusty gazebo while preparing and cooking the lovely food. The hog took several hours to cook to absolute perfection, but as Ben and his guests would surely testify, it was worth it! We cooked up an amazing feast of pigs in buns, with tender, moist morsels of meat and salty, crispy crackling stuffed into bread rolls and topped off with our own apple sauce and stuffing, and the garden-fresh salad dishes just added even more flavour to our fabulous food.
