Lauren’s 18th Birthday Bash With Hog Roast Preston

For a birthday party that we catered over the weekend, Hog Roast Preston was asked to serve a hog roast winter warmer, which is where we prepare and cook a high-quality, locally-sourced pig for hours on end until we get crispy skin that’s turned into salty crackling and slivers of moist and tender meat, which we serve together with fresh, local vegetables and potatoes, as well as our homemade apple sauce, gravy and stuffing.

For Lauren’s 18th, our team cooked up a storm with plenty of meat, sweet potato mash, carrots, sweetcorn, green beans and all the trimmings, and all of the thirty guests loved it so much that by the end of service, the plates looked like they’d been licked clean!
