For Robert and Jayne’s winter wedding, they asked us to provide a winter warmer hog roast Walton-le-Dale menu that would keep everyone snug at this chilly time of year. With a plate of gorgeous, steaming hot meat, whether hog roast or an alternative, cooked in front of you and then carved in front of you, and lovely, warm seasonal vegetables and potatoes, it’s comfort food that you and your guests will not easily forget.
The couple asked us to cook a centrepiece hog roast Walton-le-Dale and roast together yams, red onions, bell peppers, and parsnips, as well as provide garlic-infused roasted new potatoes sprinkled with herbs. While yams are not always easily found in this country, we managed to source some, and we like to think of it as one of those smallest of things that we can do to help you celebrate your special day.
Our team had a great time on Saturday, serving the hog roast winter warmer as well as other courses, which included delicious canapés of gourmet sausages, mushroom bouchees, chicken satay, and halloumi kebabs to welcome everyone to the reception, along with glasses of bubbly. We provided sit-down starters of tomato soup and fresh salmon, followed by the buffet-style hog roast dinner and then it was all finished off with our scrumptious chocolate tortes in addition to the couple’s own wedding cake, which had been lovingly made by the bride’s mother.
By the end of the evening, Robert and Jayne thanked us for helping make their day a resounding success and they booked us in for their Christmas party, too!
